Can Gio, about 40 km from central HCMC, is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve recognised in 2000. The tour takes a speedboat through the forest to Bat Lagoon, a crocodile farm, Tang Bong tower and Monkey Island.

ITINERARY
- 08:00: Private car and guide pick you up at the hotel; Binh Khanh ferry crossing of about 20 minutes
- 10:00: Arrive at Can Gio mangrove forest, learn about riverside life and mangrove plants
- Speedboat through the forest to Bat Lagoon
- Crocodile farm: learn about hatching and raising crocodiles, try crocodile fishing
- Vam Sat centre: climb Tang Bong tower for a panorama and cross the suspension bridge
- 13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant
- 14:30: Monkey Island – over 1.000 monkeys (keep an eye on your belongings)
- 15:30: Back via Binh Khanh ferry, arriving in Saigon around 17:00
